Four months ago Tata Group's airline Air India signed the world's largest aviation deal of 470 aircraft, now this record has been taken by Indigo. In the deal, Air India will get 250 aircraft from French company Airbus and 220 from American company Boeing.

Earlier, the record of the world's largest aviation deal was in the name of American Airlines, which ordered 460 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing in 2011.

Of the total order from Air India, 31 aircraft will enter service by the end of the year and the rest by mid-2025. Air India has not announced the value of the order. However, in some news reports, the total value of the deal is being told at a list price of $ 70 billion (about Rs 5.79 lakh crore).
